Is it me or are these things getting bigger and bigger? Panasonic has just announced that their massive 100Gb rewritable bluray discs will hitting the market later this month in Japan (April 15th to be exact). The disc has 3 layers packed onto them each containing around 33gb each. The LM-BE100J disc will cost 10,000 yen which equals to a cool $118 which makes us wonder if it’s ready worth the doe. If you’re worried about hardware support then don’t because new burners from companies like Pioneer and Buffalo already support them although you may need a driver update if you’re using older ones.
