I Am Alive which was first revealed by Ubisoft during E3 2008 just disappeared into thin air after its announcement. Recently a rating popped up for this title on Australian game rating classification website.
We were first shown this CGI trailer at E3 2008. It looked like a post-apocalypse survival/adventure type game where the world gets destroyed by some massive earthquake and the remaining survivors have to scavenge for food and other items.
Another trailer was later shown at E3 2010, again this trailer reveled very little gameplay and was mostly composed of cut scenes which showed chaos and destruction.
After these two trailer, this game basically disappeared and their was no mention of it from Ubisoft in all their press events including the recent E3 2011. Now a rating of this game was added yesterday on the Australian game rating classification website which showed that it was rated MA15+ for “Strong Violence”.
This news shows that this game may be very near to its release. Although it is a bit of mystery why Ubisoft have sealed their lips when it comes to this game.
