The recently released HTC EVO 3D is a great device with great hardware under that beautiful chassis. We’ve been waiting for a good overclock since it was rooted and now it’s finally here! The guys over at XDA have managed to overclock Qualcomm MSM 8660 from 1.2 GHz to a whooping 1.8 GHz using a custom kernel.
Now because the Sensation and EVO 3D are almost the same internally the overclock is also suppose to work with the prior but the developer didn’t have a Sensation to test it out.
