According to the According to the Motorola Owners’ Forum Manager, the Droid 3 “does not have an unlocked bootloader”. Motorola did promise unlocks in late 2011 so it seems that the Droid 3 along with other locked Motorola phone’s bootloaders will be unlocked via software updates.
