Mobile Money is Nokia’s product which wasn’t yet available in Pakistan. This Nokia-exclusive service enabled users to do their shopping, pay bills, send and receive money, all from their mobile phones. MCB, Muslim Commercial Bank, has taken the lead in partnering up with Nokia to have this service launched in Pakistan this year.
Nokia users will get applications which will come installed in their new devices or they can always download the Mobile Money app to make use of this service through their MCB bank accounts. This can very well be a turning point in the Pakistani telecom market right now, where people are headed towards Android devices from Samsung and HTC.
MCB users will be getting Nokia devices to make use of this service, which can potentially increase the market hold of Nokia in Pakistan.
