A new PSN exclusive game was announced by Sony at Gamescom today. The game, titled ‘Rain’ is being developed by Japan Studio. ”A story of an invisible world only revealed by the rain,” is still in development. No release date has been given.
This game should not be confused with Heavy Rain, which was a trademark of SCEE, while Rain belongs to SCEA. The game’s trailer showed a young boy as the protagonist who sees a girls silhouette. He then becomes invisible and can only be seen in the rain. The trailer did not have any voice acting or anything major to be discussed. Since this is a PSN game, do not expect it to be something too grand or long. From the trailer, it looks like something thatgamecompany would create. If I may be as bold to say this, Rain could definitely challenge Journey if all goes well.
