With the advent of iOS 6 Apple introduced a new service named as Apple maps. iOS 6 comes with Apple maps rather than old traditional Google maps. Apple maps are Apple’s try to enter itself in world of global positioning services. Apple users had many issues using new iOS 6 Apple maps service.

#iLost, Google users poke fun at Apple iOS 6 maps

Apple claimed earlier that they know they are entering in new phase and there will be a lot of space for improvements. Apple claimed that iOS 6 maps service will soon be updated with flyover options, turn by turn navigation and Siri integration. Apple says it’s a major initiative and they will get over it soon. Apple says more the users will be, better the services will be, because maps is a cloud-based service.

Apple’s claims are not enough for the time being as Motorola Mobility (which is owned by Google) start making fun of iOS 6 maps. They started using #iLost as a trend for making fun of Apple.

#iLost trend was started with Motorola mobility’s tweet:

Looking for 315 E 15th in Manhattan? Google Maps on DROID RAZR M will get you there & not #iLost in Brooklyn. moto.ly/location

Soon #iLost will be trended as a fun of Apple maps. Apple need to take steps to make its services better or they will have to face massive fun making tweets.
