Remember Sony’s “Michael” advertisement? Well, now they’ve teased something familiar.
This new video called The Reload is very short (Only 16 seconds), but we expect it’s a teaser for a longer video. As the video ends, the date, 10/23/2012 is shown. This date might be an indication for an announcement that will be made soon. Or maybe it’s just the new PlayStation store which is to be introduced in North America that day. This is the most obvious answer, but there’s nothing stopping us from expecting more, right?
You can watch the video here:
The woman shown at the desk is the same from “Michael”. There’s a sign onthe desk that says “SARU! GET YOU!” – which serves as a reference to Sony’s Ape Escape franchise. There is also a clock next to the desk which has the four PlayStation symbols on it – the cross, triangle, square and circle. The video features some lightning which could indicate Cole’s presence.
So basically, this video can be a continuation of the “Michael” ad because the woman is the same, or it could indicate a new infamous game. It could also be a promotion for PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale which features many PlayStation exclusive characters. Otherwise, if you don’t want to get your hopes up, let’s just assume that it’s for the new PlayStation store.
