Modern Warfare 3 details galore (Warning: Huge Spoilers, you are warned!)
Today will be a big day for Activision as their Billion dollar franchise info leaked quite early. I can already see Bobby Kotick of Activision grinding his teeth at leak of almost the whole detail regarding Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, the upcoming FPS from publisher Activision.
According to Kotaku, who leaked the whole details. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will be released on November 8, 2011. Players will be able to engage in mammoth battles through out the world in locations including Paris, London and New York. The game will feature a deep multiplayer gaming, eclectic settings and a Single Player story mode, which is promised to tie all previous loose ends and will include the death of several key figures from the whole series.
The game will apparently open right after the end of Modern Warfare 2 when Russians started attacking USA. According to Kotaku:
The single-player campaign will ping-pong players around the world as they take on the multiple throwaway roles as a Russian Federal Protective Services agent, SAS Operative, tank gunner, and AC-130 gunner as well as key characters from previous installments and new recurring characters. The game will feature about 15 missions, kicking off with the invasion of Manhattan by a Russian force and wrapping up with a final encounter in Dubai.
Multiplayer mode will return again, this time with a chunky list of playable maps, it will also include two Special Ops mode: “Survival” and “Mission”. Kotaku has reported that Modern Warfare 3 will feature as much as 20 multiplayer maps. This is the list courtesy of Kotaku:
