Verizon Makes WP7 Powered HTC Trophy Official With A Confirmed Release Date And Price

After a long session of rumors Verizon has just made the HTC Trophy official. The HTC Trophy will be Verizon’s first WP7 phone and will start selling online on the 26th of May for $150 after a rebate and service agreement. The HTC Trophy features a 3.8-inch WVGA display and is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. It has a 5 megapixel camera at the back along with 16GB of internal memory. Microsoft added CDMA support to Windows Phone 7 last Spring, Verizon and Sprint were expected to start issuing phones then and there. Sprint’s plan went as planned with the HTC Arrive but Verizon’s WP7 kept getting delayed and delayed.

Verizon is also offering a free Xbox 360 game with the phone if you buy it before the middle of July. So who’s getting one?
