Release Candidate 1 for the most popular Android Custom ROM CyanogenMod version 7.1 has finally released. The update brings a lot of new features along with Android 2.3.4 which is the latest Android OS out for Mobile Phones.
Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread brings along a lot of changes, performance enhancements and video calling through GTalk to your Android phone. Both voice and video calling work on 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi. Other features include support for Bluetooth mice, notifications between calls and some minor UI changes.
CM7.1 also supports more devices like the Samsung Galaxy S (and its American, carrier-based variations), HTC Incredible S, T-Mobile G2X/LG Optimus 2X and Motorola Cliq/Cliq XT now. The complete changelog is as follows:
