Apple is gonna be releasing the latest update for it’s Mac OS X operating system just as planned later today i.e 20th of June. The upgrade will cost just $29 so make sure you have your doe ready.

Lion (10.7) is a much bigger upgrade than Snow Leopard (10.6) which brought about just a few new features. Lion features an improved user interface similar to Apple’s iOS platform for mobile devices (as you can see in the screenshot below). Other features include resume which remembers the state of applications when the system is shut down and will allow the applications to resume their session when the system is booted back up, there’s also an autosave feature which automatically keeps saving files to avoid accidental loss of data in the case of power failure or battery running out.
Mac OS X Lion is the first Mac OS to be exclusively sold as a digital download where previous version were sold in shops. To get your Mac ready for Lion you need to update to Mac OS X 10.6.8 first. So good luck!
