Apple Cracking Down On Unauthorized iOS 5 Users, Closes Down Developer Accounts

Looks like Apple is not happy with users who have illegally installed iOS 5 betas on their devices and not using the authorized process by buying a developer account for $99. Apple is coming for you people, be prepared.

New in iOS 5 is the setup wizard which forces you to adjust the basic settings like time, date etc and activate the phone. Apple can now deny activation which makes the device little more than a paperweight until and unless it’s downgraded to a previous firmware. Users were then forced to pay website promising Apple IDs for as much as $15 but recently Apple started cracking them down and deactivating the developer accounts of the website’s owners.
