If you’re a fan of instant messaging you must have heard about WhatsApp messenger, in case you didn’t it’s a cross platform messenger currently available on Android, iOS, Symbian and BlackBerry OS. Now it looks like a Windows Phone version might be on the horizon.
The guys behind WhatsApp posted a job listing on their website, they’re looking for a person with very good C/C++, Java and C# programming knowledge and debugging skills. Since Windows Phone is based primarily on C# WhatsApps should hit the Zune Marketplace soon enough. The job listing was as follows:

Job Responsibilities:
- Create new, awesome features used by millions of current WhatsApp users.
- Ability to work in a very small team.
- Own release and QA cycles of your code.
Job Requirements:
- BS in computer science or equivalent. MS or PhD is a plus
- Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills
- Strong Java or C# programming and debugging skills
- Experience developing native mobile apps is strongly preferred, but not required
- Startup mindset
