With iOS4 Apple introduced its revolutionary new take at multitasking. The multitasking on the iPhone 4 is a pleasure to use but the problem is that over time a lot of apps become clustered up in the background. The only way to close them was to select each single app and exit it from the multitasking menu. However, as it turns out, there is a way to exit apps with the simple press of the home button.
The following is a really simple way to exit apps completely on an iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch or an iPad.
Step One
Open up Cydia from the springboard

Step Two
Navigate to the Manage Tab in Cydia and tap on Sources.
Step Three
Tap on edit and then add. Add the Repo http://repo.hackyouriphone.org to Cydia.
Step Four
Go to the search tab and search for MultiCleaner.
Install the app.
Step Five
Reboot the phone. The Multicleaner icon will appear on your springboard using which you can configure multicleaner. With multicleaner installed you’ll be able to exit any application completely by simply holding the home button for a second, and if you want to minimize the app, just tap the home button and not hold it.
When you hold the home button this message will appear and the app will exit completely.
