    There has been no shortage of extra juice packs for the iPhone 4 with Ballistic, iLuv, iKit, AGF and Scosche releasing their own products and announcing support for the Verizon’s iPhone 4, But here’s the news: Mophie has announced it’s one of a kind juice pack which works with BOTH the AT&T and Verizon iPhones. The juice pack “air” is set to reach selves by the end of this month. The first few shipments would be black with silver accents while soft-touch red and glossy white versions are set to release later. Still with a steep price of $79.95 it’s pretty expensive but every 3G user should have one.

  • Sony’s new VAIO Fit lineup refines its entry-level laptops

    Sony has introduced new VAIO Fit line of entry-level notebooks which follows their low end laptops series. The FIT E laptop would cost around $550 and would incorporate Intel Core processor, Nvidia graphics card, advanced hybrid hard drives, and a spacious keypad along with trackpad.

    The notebooks specifics are much more cost effective then the other Sony VAIO products. The Fit models can easily fit an optical drive and are much slimmer than other notebooks; however they do not fall into the category of ultrabooks as they do not get the best features in term of its weight. Fit E would be available in 14 and 15 inch models in different vibrant colors including pink, silver and traditional black. VAIO product manager Travis Furst mentioned that “We’re really focusing on the power of Sony”.

    The Fit series offers significant improvements in webcam and exceptional quality of sound which is rare in any available laptop series. The Fit has also been designed to offer enhanced video, photo and audio editing features for new users with ease of use and simplicity in its interface. Sony once again tries to make itself a leader in high end products and the Fit series gives the company another competitive edge among its competitors.

    Nike’s fuel band, one of the most popular gadget for health and fitness conscious people, is set to launch its latest second generation updated accessory Nike+ Fuel Band 2 which would incorporate heart rate / pulse monitor, new improved and smart display, Bluetooth 4.0 and other additional features.

    Nike+ Fuel Band is based on attractive bracelet which would be very useful in maintaining fitness statistics of users. The band would track daily routine activities which include running, dancing, basketball, and many more along with calories burned during each activity. The band would come with it own Nike+ fuel band application for iPhone. The implementation of Bluetooth 4.0 would certainly boost battery life which would be quite useful for users running at far and wide.

    Furthermore the sync feature would also be improved in this new accessory. Currently the device in under final trials and the product would hit the market soon. The Fuel Band have been quite revolutionary and unique in wearable tech market, however, Apple is also ready to launch its new watch product which would include smart watch features along with current Fuel Band technology.

    The introduction of both the products would certainly add up a real competition among the two major brands to grasp the incentive.

  • Call of Duty and WOW CEO Bobby Kotick is pretty rich

    Although competitors like EA maybe be down in the dump, there’s nothing stopping Activision and it’s CEO Bobby Kotick who was recently revealed to be one of America’s highest payed CEOs.

    After reviewing papers submitted to the SEC by Activision in 2012 (via Bloomberg) it was revealed that Mr. Kotick was worth a whopping $64.9 million to his company mainly through the $55.9 million stock options give to him. Other than the stocks, Kotick has received up to $20 million directly from Activision. For comparison, EA’s former CEO John Riccitiello was paid only $800,000 a year.

    Gaming is becoming one of the fastest growing businesses in the world, taking even the oldest analogue games like Bingo and incorporating them into online mobile Bingo sites which are rapidly becoming more and more popular.

    Activision is currently the biggest name in gaming with huge franchises like Call of Duty, World of Warcraft and Starcraft just to name a few. Just how bigger the company will get next generation is unknown, but the growth by the looks of it isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

  • 32GB Galaxy S4 Release Date Confirmed

    The much awaited wait for 32 GB Samsung Galaxy S4 is over now as it would be available in the U.S from Friday, May 10th with a two year AT&T contract. Previously, the Galaxy S4 was available in 16 GB memory which kept advanced users uncomfortable as the Samsung bundled apps including touchWiz and extras wiped around 8 GB of memory.

    Although the 32 GB micro SD card is not a costly thing to buy but most of the apps cannot be installed on external memory card which in turn requires the internal memory of phone and 32 GB version would easily suffice the user needs in all aspects till date. Considering the difference of just $50 from 16GB version, grabbing the 32GB version S4 would always be a smart choice for all the advanced users and even with common users who are not in gaming or high tech apps.

    Availability for extra spaces in android phone always keep it fast and smart and this version would surely be a good investment. The company would also launch 64 GB version in near future but 32 GB model is still a smart trade off with the old 16 GB version model.

    Skype aired a new update for the Phone version of their hugely popular VOIP client. The new update adds support for H.264 video which lets the iPhone call TVs which support Skype. Currently Skype for TV is supporting by a few Panasonic, LG and Samsung HDTVs while Sony and Vizio have announced support in the HDTVs too be launched  later this year. The new update is also available for the iPod Touch and iPad (which doesn’t support video calling, YET). The new video calling feature are only available on the devices with cameras, for example: the new 4th gen iPod Touch is supported while the older ones aren’t. Skype is available from the iTunes store for free so go grab it as soon as possible.

  • Rockstar Games Releases Three New GTA V Trailers

    Rockstar Games has released three brand new trailers for their upcoming blockbuster title – Grand Theft Auto 5 or GTA V for short. All of the three new GTA V trailers show off the game’s three protagonists showcasing their characters and why they do what they do.

    GTA V hits stores September 17th for the PS3 and Xbox 360, pre-orders have already started. Although recent rumors are that the game will be arriving on the Wii U, PC and next generation consoles including the PS4 so if you want to play it on any one of those platforms then maybe you should wait a bit.

  • Activision Announces Call Of Duty Ghosts, Developed By Infinity Ward

    Activision and Infinity Ward finally announced Call of Duty Ghosts earlier today. The game is being developed with a brand new Call of Duty engine for both current and next generation consoles.

    Activision will be properly showing off the game at Microsoft’s next generation Xbox event on the 21st of May, but they were nice enough to release a live action teaser trailer to quench our thirst, check it below:

    Pre orders for the PC, Xbox 360 and PC versions are open now. Call of Duty Ghosts hits stores for the aforementioned platforms on November 5th 2013.

    Feature Improvements

    • Added a limited time game mode to the Bonus Playlist, the Arms Race Team Deathmatch variant awards players 150 score per kill. Let the Scorestreak wars begin.
    • Added a post-match Connection Quality survey which will be presented to a sampling of players to assess online gameplay connection quality.

    Multiplayer Issues Addressed

    • Fixed an issue reported by the community where players could get infinite ammo for the Death Machine and War Machine.
    • Addressed an issue reported by the community where players may not die when getting stuck with a Crossbow Bolt.
    • Fixed an issue reported by the community where the Hunter Killer drones will float around slowly when they miss a target from a certain angle.
    • Addressed an issue reported by the community where the frame rate may drop for other players when the host changes their audio settings during a match.
    • Addressed multiple issues on Magma where players were able to fall or dive-to-prone in certain lava areas and survive.
    • Players can now enter the crouched position while sprinting with the Riot Shield equipped.
    • Care packages now appear in blue and orange on the map when Color Blind Assist is enabled.
    • Resolved an issue where players and turrets could survive the water rush when in certain areas on Hydro.
    • Resolved a UI issue with Tactical Insertion button prompt placement in Split Screen after a Host Migration.
    • Resolved an inconsistency with Max Number of Players being displayed incorrectly when backing out of a Public Match search while it is searching.
    • Addressed an issue with the Respawn Delay counter overlapping with other on-screen graphics in Split Screen.
    • Addressed an issue with League Teams appearing incorrectly when they view another player’s League Team in the Leaderboards.
    • Fixed a formatting issue in Leagues Season Final text where the date the player was placed was wrapping incorrectly.
    • Overkill challenges will now progress if the player is using an alternate select fire mode.
    • Bots will no longer attempt to capture and destroy the Headquarters from outside of the Alien Set Van or the Castle.
    • The upper metal plate of a planted Assault Shield now appears in the proper position during a Killcam.
    • Fix for the Hellstorm Missile not defaulting to the center of the Vertigo map when it flies in.
    • Equipment, Turrets and Guardians are now destroyed when they are thrown or placed into the lava in some areas on Magma.
    • Addressed an issue with the Custom and Private Match change team scoreboard not updating in real time when the overlay is on screen.
    • Addressed a rapid scrolling issue in the Preset Class Menu.
    • Chopper Hunter Field Specialist challenge updated to Aircraft Hunter with a description that reflects the aircrafts that need to be destroyed to complete the challenge.
    • Text displayed for “Enemies forfeiting…” increased on Split-Screen to make it more legible.
    • Fixed an issue with the last player alive defusing the bomb in Search & Destroy not receiving any defuse points.
    • Resolved an issue with signing in and out while a film in loading in Theater.
    • The icon to distinguish a Search & Destroy bomb location is now visible to a Codcaster who is spectating the defending team.
    • Resolved an issue with attempting to sign into a Twitch account with Dual Play enabled.
    • Fixed an issue in the Combat Record where the images would disappear when scrolling off of and on to the Combat Record.
    • Fixed an issue in Offline System Link when the host leaves a lobby.

    Gameplay Balancing

    • Reverted global spawn influencer change from previous game update due to undesirable side effects.

    Zombies Mob of the Dead Issues Addressed

    • Addressed an issue reported by the community where players would collide with each other and die while riding the gondola.
    • Players can now board the plane once it’s been built.
    • Fixed an issue in Grief Mode where the Wolf head would freeze after round 5.
    • Addressed various zombie pathing issues throughout the map.
    • Fixed an issue where character conversations would overlap with each other.
    • Fixed an issue where players could not unlock the Juggernog machine that was locked down by Brutus.
    • Addressed several exploits involving zombie pathing and the zombie shield.
    • Resolved an issue where the game would not end if killed by the Acid Splat.
    • Fixed an issue where players could get stuck behind the Afterlife doors.
    • Resolved various pathing issues where zombies would not path to players behind open doors.
    • Addressed an issue with the electric chairs placing the players underneath the.
    • Addressed an issue where the prompt to build the plane would disappear while holding the Tomahawk.
    • Addressed an issue with the wins and loss data not updating in the Grief leaderboards.
