  • Playstation Vita Release Date Leaked

According to a flier released by Block Buster UK, PlayStation Vita release date was shown as October 28. Whether this news is authentic or not, it has yet to be confirmed.

This was reported by IGN, Block Buster UK released a new flier which listed the upcoming games and consoles. It contained a listing for PlayStation Vita as can be seen below. The listing showed a 28th October release date and a launch price of 229.99 euro for the Wi-Fi only model. The 3G model was listed as 279.99 euros.

This price is a little expensive as compared to the US. The official price for US was $250 for the Wi-Fi only model while if we convert this European price to US, we will get $330.

It is still unconfirmed whether this is for Europe only or it is a global launch date. Japan will be getting Playstation Vita on 12th December, 2011 as announced by Kaz Hirai during this year’s E3. Sony previously said that PS Vita will launch in Japan and US first before making its debut in Europe. This news makes it look like Europe will be likely getting this handled first but like we said, it is a rumor only so far so better wait for the official launch date.

Recently, Nintendo slashed the price of 3DS from $250 to $170. This was a surprise as 3DS has been barely out for a few months now. The PlayStation Vita, being the direct competitor to 3DS, needs to have a stronger launch in order to benefit Sony.

  • Final Fantasy Versus XIII Won’t Be Shown At TGS

More sad news for all the JRPG fans who were hoping for a closer look at this long delayed game from Square Enix. It turns out that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is absent from the list of games that are to shown at this year’s Tokyo Game Show in Japan.

According to a trusted source from NeoGAF, the confirmed TGS titles are XIII-2, Type-0, KH3D and Theatrhythm. Theatehythm is a new title from Tetsuya Nomura which will be a part of 25th’s Anniversary for Final Fantasy. According to the original user at NeoGAF

No Versus at TGS… think most people knew this though. Nomura has already decided on the timing of its next reveal, however.
THEATRhythm is the first game as a part of the 25th Anniversary for Final Fantasy.

Their confirmed TGS titles are XIII-2, Type-0, KH3D and Theatrhythm. They’ll have the open mega theater again, and the PVs will eventually be released on the web.

It is already confirmed that Versus XIII won’t be releasing on PS3 this year and their are no news yet of a release date in 2012. The only in-game footage of Versus XIII was shown during last year’s TGS which showed a lot of footage including impressive fights and beautifully rendered CGI cut scenes. The gameplay looked similar to Kingdom Hearts and was a lot more action oriented.

  • Chris Brown Returns With a BANG!

After a few hard years, Chris Brown has returned to the stage of the VMAs and gave everything to his outstanding performance this year. He was nominated in only two categories for his hit single ‘Look At Me Now’. Although he didn’t win any award but at least he was nominated and that was a huge thing for him as he was absent for a last few years since the Rihanna-beating incident.

He performed to a medley of songs including ‘Yeah 3x‘ and ‘Beautiful People‘. He also danced to Nirvana. After doing a great job at dancing he did some spectacular aerial work which made it one show stopping performance. Kanye West, Justin Bieber and a few others really enjoyed the performance.

You can watch the performance here, because the video has been removed due to copyright issues from YouTube and other sites.

  • Scott Storch Working on a New Project

Scott Storch, the New York born record producer, is one of the best producers out there. Everyone is familiar with his arabian-vibe beats which changed the music industry back in early and mid-2000s. He has collaborated with Dre on his song Still D.R.E and his most successful production was Lean Back, a track which was also featured in the game Need for Speed: Underground 2.

He’s the mastermind behind the worldwide hits like ‘Naughty Girl‘ by Beyoncé, ‘Candy Shop‘, ‘Just A Lil Bit‘ by 50 Cent, etc. Although he hasn’t been producing much songs these days, which ultimately means he’s working on some sort of a project of his own. With all the producers releasing their own albums these days featuring a wide range of artists, maybe Scott made up his mind to make one of his own. He stated in a recent interview that he is indeed working on an album with a few artists. Let’s see if he beats other producers like DJ Khaled or Timbaland in this regard.

Let us know what do you expect of Storch’s upcoming album in the comments section below.
