  • ASUS Has Leaked Specifications For The AMD Bulldozer (Zambezi-FX)

    Only a month’s left to the the long rumored release of the AMD Bulldozer (Zamberzi-FX) based on the AM3+ platform. Today ASUS one of the leaders in computer hardware leaked the specifications of the FX series processors through its “AM3+ Motherboards BIOS Evaluation” Chart above.

    The processors and their specifications are as follows:

    AMD FX-8130P – 8 Core, 3.8Ghz, Max T.C 4.2Ghz, 125W (320$)
    AMD FX-8110 – 8 Core, 3.6Ghz, Max T.C 4.0Ghz, 95W (290$)
    AMD FX-6110 – 6 Core, Unknown, Max T.C Unknown, 95W (240$)
    AMD FX-4110 – 4 Core, Unknown, Max T.C Unknown, 95W (190$)

    Let’s see if these can match Intel’s Core i3, i5 and i7 series.

  • New AMD Bulldozer FX-8150P Black Edition Details Leaked, Turbo Boost Can Go Upto 4.7GHz!?

    New information for AMD’s Bulldozer based Zambezi-FX processor has been leaked by a Chinese site. The FX-8150P processor is the highest end model of the whole FX-8 series lineup and is branded as a Black Edition processor which have unlocked multipliers leading to use overclocks.

    The aforementioned chip features a massive clock speed of 4.2 GHz with a turbo boost going up to 4.7 GHz. The chip is based on a 32Nm SOI architecture which ensures low temperatures and electricity usage which is just 140W TDP. Overclocking this beast to insane clocks will be hell lotta easy. According to a listing here the chip is suppose to retail for $320 which is too good to be true, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

  • AMD Bulldozer Release Date Hinted In This “Operation Scorpius” Video From AMD

    AMD is releasing a new processor soon which will feature about 8 cores and host a multitude of advanced technologies. AMD released this video to anticipate the arrival of the FX series platform.

    This short cinematic trailer is for “Legend of FX” graphic novel which is available for free at http://www.amd.com/comic.

    We can spot a hidden release date for the AMD Bulldozer at 0:15 on the bottom left edge of the screen. It can be easily seen in the screenshot given above. Just look at the date on the computer case on the bottom left side. It clearly hints at a release date of September 19th.

    Another hint is given in the form of frequency shown on the computer case which reads 3600 mhz, it means that FX series processor will come with high stock clocks. Check out the video below.
