  • iPhone 5 Prototypes Received By Carriers, Production To Start Shortly

According to a new report it seems that partner carriers with Apple have started receiving iPhone 5 prototype sets for testing. This is for last minute tests so that the models are in pristine working conditions before full productions starts.

The source of this report is Charles Arthur editor at The Guardian who claims that sources state the next iPhone’s boxes being received by carriers all around the world.

my carrier sources tell me that the boxes in which the new iPhone hardware is encased have been transported to carriers for testing. This is an important step in the release cycle for any phone.

It’s very high security, as you could guess; my understanding is that barely anyone inside the carriers gets to open those boxes

With just a month or two to go to it’s pretty much expected release date it couldn’t be anything other than the next iPhone in the black boxes from Apple.. could it?

  • Bloatware Is Gonna Be A Thing Of The Past In Ice Cream Sandwich

In Android 4.0 you are able remove any system application from your phone which includes core apps like the browser and Gmail, but we’ve always wondered if carriers would be able limit this ability and install un-removable bloatware like they did with the recent Android phones.

According to ThisIsMyNext this is not the case in Ice Cream Sandwich as you can remove carrier installed applications too, now isn’t that the best news ever? I don’t know about you guys but Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is shaping up to be the best Android update ever, take a bow Matias Duarte you deserve it.
