    origin pc 2011 02 15 Origin Quietly Releases A Core i7 990X Equiped Monster

Move over Alienware there’s a new bad boy in town. Custom PC maker Origin just released their Eon 17 PC equipped with a massively overclocked 990X. The processor at stock run at 3.46Ghz but Origin has managed to run it at 4.6Ghz which is 200Mhz faster than their previous 980X laptop. We’re still wondering what temps it would run at, Maybe a little LN2 would make it better. The laptop has a 17.3-inch full HD display along with two Nvida GeForce GTX 480m running in SLI and up to 24gb of ram. The Core i7 990X is available from major retailers for around $1,050 and the laptop starts from a smooth $2,499.

  • Leaked Images of Next-Gen iPhone Parts Confirm Relocated Flash?

Boy, these iPhone 5 rumors just keep on comin’. This time around Apple pro has posted some supposed images of the the next gen iPhone parts, specifically the camera modules. The noticable difference is that the iPhone 5 rear camera module is lacking the flash and the component which blocks Camera/Flash interference. This seems to line up with the earlier rumor that the iPhone 5 will have a relocated flash, away from the camera unit on top-right of the rear.

  • More Motorola Droid 3 Details Leaked

Most of you have probably seen the above leaked image of the Droid 3 before but the thing we’re all wondering are what’s inside that slim and shining body. Technobuffalo seems to have obtained some new information thanks to a reliable tipster.

The screen seems to be upgraded to a 4-inch qHD variant, powered by a dual core processor most probably the Tegra 2 variant just like the Droid X2. Other features include a new 5 row keyboard, a front facing camera for video calls and a brand new 8 megapixel sensor on the back. The only let down is no LTE support but that’s a good thing since Verizon hasn’t been properly able to provide 4G coverage across the US. No LTE could give better battery life too, so we’ll leave it for the Droid 4.

  • HTC Sense UI 3.0 Won’t Be Supporting PRE EVO 3D Devices

-insertsadsmileyhere- Yes we know this is sad, HTC just announced from their Twitter that older devices like your HTC Desire HD and Incredible S won’t be getting HTC Sense UI 3.0. HTC said that Sense UI 3.0 is only supported by newer devices like the EVO 3D, Flyer tablet and the recently announced Sensation. All three of these devices have dual core processors leading us to belive that this new Sense must be really hardware intensive.

This is new since I didn’t expect manufacturers themselves to fragmentise their own devices, but our bet is those geniuses over at XDA-Developers would probably sort this out it’s only a matter of time now.
