Patriot showed off it’s super fast and huge 128gb USB 3.0 flash drive at the on going CeBIT. The SuperSonic Magnum reaches speeds up to 200 MB/s (read) and 110 MB/s (write) which is shockingly fast. The flash drive is pretty small (physically) compared to other USB 3.0 drives. Patriot has no announced pricing or availability yet but it’s probably gonna cost a kidney or two on launch. The memory maker also announced it’s new line of Wildfire SSD drives which offer stupendously fast 500 MB/s sequential read and write speeds backed by a SATA 6.0 Gb/s interface.
So in short the SSD’s feature:
- New Patriot Wildfire series SSDs
- 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities
- SandForce SF-2200 SSD processor
- SATA 6.0 Gb/s interface
- Up to 500 MB/s sequential read and write speeds
