  • Firefox 6 Available For Download 3 Days Prior To 16th August Release Date

    Typical Mozilla, they can’t follow a schedule can they? Firefox is now available for download through Mozilla’s FTP right now 3 days prior to it’s announced release date of August 16th.

    Firefox 6 doesn’t have any cosmetic changes apart from the domain being highlighted in the address bar, the changes are mostly internal. Changes include bug fixes, performance improvements and security patches.

    Along with the desktop version the Android version of Firefox has also been updated with major changes. It features a new and “fresh visual style in Chrome Gingerbread,” it’s quite faster and loses less RAM and also has improved image scaling. Download links are below:

  • Firefox 6 Officially Released, Download Links Inside

    Even though Firefox 6 was available for download a couple of day ago before release today is it’s official release date, what does that mean? Enjoy the very full release of Firefox 6 directly from Mozilla.

    As we reported before Firefox 6 doesn’t feature any UI changes except the domain being bolded out in the address bar. Changes under the hood include supported for the latest WebSocket, bug fixes, performance improvements which helps when you have multiple tabs open and a new permissions option which makes it easier to see which information the websites you visit tend to use.
