Follow the steps below to unlock your iPhone running iOS 7 beta:

Step #1: Contact one of the companies listed here or unlocking sites like this one that factory unlock iPhones.

Step #2: Check what carrier your phone is locked to, the carrier name usually shows up on the top left corner of the phone.

Step #3: Find your iPhone’s IMEI code by either dialing *06# or going into the About section in Settings.

Step #4: Provide the information collected in the two aforementioned steps to the company you selected in the first step. They’ll send you a confirmation email after the unlocking process is complete.

Step #5: Connect your iPhone to your PC via USB.

Step #6: Open iTunes so that it detects the device.

Step #7: A message will appear indicating that your iPhone 5 has now been unlocked.

And now your iPhone 5 on iOS 7 beta should be factory unlocked.

  • iOS 7 to include built-in cellular data monitor

Looks like the recently announced iOS 7 will be getting a feature Android users have had for quite a while now, of course I’m talking about a cellular data monitor which was announced in Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich if I remember correctly.

iOS 7 which Apple tout to be the ‘biggest change since the introduction of the iPhone’ is true to quite some extent as it introduces a radical new change with a slurry of new features. iOS 7 was revealed at the yearly WWDC conference just a few weeks ago to a mixed response, fans who’ve been used to the static iOS design feared the aesthetic changes would iOS for the worse but I personally believe it’s a much needed refresher.

The built-in data monitor will allow users to find out exactly how much data a specific app is consuming, thanks to this users should be able to save quite the pocket change on their data plans.

What do you think of the feature? Let us know in the comments below.
