  • Add some color and cuteness to your iDevice with Nyan Sliders

    Are you tired of your dull grey mercury colored sliders for controlling the music volume and the time bar? What if you add a little more life to it by bringing in some Nyan to it? Including the rainbow trail and even an animated Nyan Cat with moving feet and face? Follow this simple guide and your iDevice will be “nyan”ty nine percent cooler.

    Step 1.

    Open Cydia on your iDevice and navigate to search.

    Step 2.

    In search type “org.thebigboss.nyansliders” without the quotation marks and look for the icon in the image below (its nyan cat) and tap it.

    Step 3.

    Choose “Install” from the top right of the screen after tapping the cat and after install press “Confirm”.

    Step 4.

    Wait for the tweak to download and install and tap on “Restart Springboard” for a soft reset on your iDevice.

    Step 5.

    Navigate to your “Settings” and slide down till you see “NyanSliders” as shown in the image below, and then customize it to your liking.


    Step 6.

    Your iDevice is now NYANty nine percent more cooler as shown in the images below.

    The awesome Jailbreaking community has launched another tweak for music lovers. Recludo is the jailbreak tweak which is simple as well as useful.

    Recludo allows you to open the music app directly from the lockscreen while listening to music. It’s kind of annoying while listening to music when you are directed to the homescreen after unlocking your iDevice instead of directing to the music app to change track etc.

    With Recludo that’s no more a problem because it will direct you to the music app after unlocking your iDevice while lockscreen music controls invoked.

    SpringPod is a jailbreak tweak that adds music controls directly on your springboard in form of icons and the use of this tweak is really simple. Once installed, it will add the following controls to your springboard (home screen):

    • Play or Pause music playback.
    • Rewind music.
    • Fast Forward music.
    • Increase volume.
    • Decrease volume.
    • Previous track.
    • Next track.

    You can also customize the look of SpringPod’s icons via settings panel. This tweak is really helpful for those people who has a broken home button on their iDevice and are unable to invoke App Switcher. Plus it also let you know the song info by holding the play icon.
