A new albeit low quality image of the rumor Xbox 720 Kinect Tool has been leaked courtesy of Xboygen. Check it out below:
Dev kits for the Xbox 720 codenamed Durango were reportedly distributed back in February so this image could very well be real. As you can see the tool is able to recognize fingers and the different shape of clothes, something the current Kinect isn’t able to do.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is the latest installment in the Ghost Recon third person shooter series by Ubisoft. According to a recent listing on the game plays “better with Kinect” along with Kinect branding which is only for games properly supported by the Kinect sensor.
So we can expect movement recondition but what else? Voice and Facial recondition are also possible along with in-game menu navigation with the Kinect sensor. Ubisoft were contacted for a response but they decided not to comment on the situation but we can surely expect more news about Ghost Recon: Future Soldier at E3 this next month.

Great news for Xbox 360 owners who haven’t dipped in and bought a Kinect yet. Microsoft has just announced a price drop which will be bringing the Kinect controller’s price to $109.99 from its original launch price of $149.99.
The price drop is still US only right now but Microsoft is planning to bring the price drop to other regions soon like Australia and New Zealand which will be getting the price drop on October 5th. We’ll keep you updated as more as revealed on the topic.

Ubisoft has announced an Avengers game for the Kinect and the WiiU. This game will be called “Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth”.
This game will be a motion-controlled adventure game. This game will not be focusing on the movie, but will instead be based on the “Secret Invasion” comic book series.
The game will have characters such as Cap. America, Hulk, Thor and Iron Man, as they battle against genetically-enhanced aliens. You will also see some other villains and heroes which have not been announced yet.
The game will also feature “Competitive Gameplay”, which refers to some kind of a multiplayer function. Maybe a player versus player battle? Or maybe co-operative gameplay.
No confirmation has been given about the motion functions on each platform, but details should be expected soon.

October’s Official Xbox Magazine suggests that a full fledged Fable title will be hitting shelves by 2013, don’t confuse this with the other Kinect only Fable: The Journey.
The next OXM’s cover is above (click to enlarge) focusing highly on Halo’s 10 years. OXM also states that GearBox is working on a Duke Nukem Reboot “with the long-discussed Duke Begins, but not until Aliens: Colonial Marines is done”, The game will disappointingly run “at 30fps but with graphics that put id’s own Rage to shame” Well we’ll have to see if GearBox fulfills it’s claims.
Loinhead studios is currently working on the Kinect only Fable: The Journey so Fable 4 will probably their next worked on title. GearBox as aforementioned is working on Aliens: Colonial Marines.
