  • Refreshed Macbook Pro Concept Images

The Macbook Pro is one of the best laptops available in the market today, coupling one of the greatest laptop designs with high-end hardware make it a force to be reckoned with. Recent rumors suggested that the Macbook Pro’s current four year old design will be refreshed this Summer with Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge processors, Retina Display pumping up to 2880 x 1800 pixels on the screen, a new slimmer design similar to the Macbook Air, USB 3.0 and other good stuff.

Not being able to handle the wait,  designer Guilherme Schasiepen has come up with some jaw dropping concept images of the new Macbook Pro. Check them out in the gallery below (click to enlarge).

  • MacBook Pro Refresh With Retina Display, New Ultra Slim Design And USB 3.0 Rumored For This Summer

Apple’s obviously gonna upgrade the MacBook Pro with Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge processors but according to 9to5Mac, news around the supply chain is that the 2012 MacBook Pro will feature a brand new ultra slim design like the Macbook Air although a bit thicker, retina display screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 and a few of them much awaited USB 3.0 ports.

The site claims Apple will omit the slot loading DVD drive and will replace the eject button with the power button. The new MBPs also do not feature any Ethernet ports like the MacBook Air although you shouldn’t worry much as you can always grab an adapter.

Apple’s going all out on introducing high resolution Retina Display in their devices, they started back with the iPhone 4 and recently with the iPad 3 so why shouldn’t the MacBook get any attention? The 15-inch MacBook Pro is reported to have a resolution of 2880 x 1800 which is double the resolution of the current MacBook Pro i.e 1440 x 900.

Lastly the addition of USB 3.0 is plausible as Intel have introduced SuperSpeed USB with their Ivy Bridge processors. If you still want to know more than you should better check out these GeekBench scores which show a healthy performance upgrade.

We’re betting on the new MacBook Pro being announced at the upcoming WWDC conference, what do you think?
