  • Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Collection 4 Arriving For PC October 10 [Update PS3]

    Infinity Ward has just announced via Facebook that the last round of DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be arriving for PC on the 10th of October.

    The DLC titled Final Assault will include five brand new maps gracefully ending the game’s year of DLCs. The maps included in Collection 4 Final Assault for Modern Warfare 3 are: Boardwalk, Gulch, Off Shore, Decommission and Parish. Modern Warfare 3 Collection 4 Final Assault will cost $15. The launch trailer is embedded below:

    Should hold you off till Black Ops 2 comes out in November.

    Update: PS3 release dates for Collection 4 have also been confirmed. PS3 Elite Premium users will get Gulch, Boardwalk, Parish on October 9th while the rest will be available for everybody on October 10th.

  • Modern Warfare 3 BETA Build Leaked?

    Our friends over at WCCFTech have come across a video on YouTube showing off the game’s main menu screen. We can’t confirm the authenticity of the video so check it out below and tell us what you think:

    The channel the video is uploaded on is called where the user has uploaded interviews and gameplay videos for MW3. Could it be that this guy has managed to get his hand on a BETA build of Modern Warfare 3 similar to how a BETA of Gears Of War 3 was leaked a few days ago for JTAG Xbox 360s.

  • PS3 Users Can Now Download Modern Warfare 3 Elite Drop 22-24

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players on the PS3 can now download Modern Warfare 3 Elite Drop 22-24 given that they’ve purchased COD Elite Premium. The drop includes brand new multiplayer maps namely Gulch, Boardwalk, and Parish. The drop can be download directly from the PSN store or through the in-game DLC option.

    Modern Warfare 3 Collection 4 will be arriving later today on PC and will include the three maps mentioned before along with Off Shore and Decommission. Collection 4 is the last round of DLC for Modern Warfare 3, its finally time we move onto to the next COD – Black Ops 2 which hits stores November 13th.

  • Modern Warfare 3 PS3 Patch 1.19, PC Patch 1.15, Terminal On PS3 And Double Weapon XP

    Loads of updates and additions hit MW3 this week. First is the availability of MW2′s Terminal map for PS3 users, the map went live on Xbox 360 a few weeks ago and is finally available on the Sony console.

    PS3 players will also be prompted to download Patch 1.19 while PC players will be getting Patch 1.15. A full list of changes included in both of the patches are below via the MW3 forums.

    PS3 1.19 Patch

    • Update to Face Off logic
    • Improvements to lag compensation
    • Support for Elite drops 19-24
    • Fix for XM25 challenges not registering
    • Added logic to make Terminal count as an original map
    • Fix for players changing a UAV into a second Ballistic Vest pointstreak
    • Fixed Elite Web issue when sending custom classes with attachment proficiency on second primary

    PC 1.15 Patch

    • Valve Anti-Cheat fix to prevent VAC banned players from accessing MW3 MP servers
    • Support for Terminal to autodownload as part of the patch
    • Update to Face Off spawn logic
    • Weapon balance changes for Assault Rifles & SMGs
    • Adding all previous hot fixes

    Double Weapon XP is also now live on all platforms which will last longer than the weekend although a specific date has not been announced, so you better start leveling up those pesky weapons quick!
