  • Transformers 4 Coming Out In June 2014

It is official, Michael Bay is working on yet another Transformers sequel to come out in June 2014. Transformers 4 could very well be a series reboot, which seems to be all the jazz these days with Spiderman and everything. The new movie might not star Shia LeBeouf this time around as he already said he won’t be coming back to do another Transformers movie.

    Producer di Bonaventura said:

“I think the challenge there is that we are really going to do a reboot and what that’s going to be, we don’t even know yet”

Rumor has it that Jason Statham might be doing the lead role this time around. I definitely think this series should be continued further rather than restarting it all over again. We’ll keep you posted as this story develops.

  • Top 10 Comedy (Funny) Movies Of 2011

2011 has been a brilliant year for Comedy movies, so we compiled a list of the top 10 comedy (funny) movies that you should definitely watch this year. Comedy movies have always had a place in our hearts, I mean everybody needs a laugh sometimes right? Do note guys that this list was based on the time of writing, better movies might come out in the coming months so keep that in mind.

    10. Your Highness

Your Highness starring Natalie Portman, James Franco, Danny McBride and Rasmus Hardiker takes place in fantasy land where two brothers Thadeous (McBride) and Fabious (Franco) have to depart on an epic journey to save Fabious’ to be wife from an evil Wizard.

    9. The Dilemma

The Dilemma stars Vince Vaughn and Kevin James. The movie tells the story of two best friends Ronny (Vaughn) and Nick (James) where the latter discovers that his wife is having an affair and makes it his mission to find out who the mystery man is.

    8. No Strings Attached

Coming up at number 8 is New Strings Attached starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher tell us the story of two friends who have agreed to share some “benefits”. The scenes are very well thought out and overall the movie is pretty darn funny.

    7. Diary of a Wimpy Kid – Rodrick Rules

‘Rodrick Rules is the sequel to the original Diary of a Wimpy Kid, the movie originally is based of a best selling book of the same name. The movie stars Zachary Gordon, Robert Capron, Devon Bostick and Rachel Harris.

    6. Hall Pass

The Hall Pass starts comedy legends Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis who are given a Hall Pass from their wives which means they get to do whatever they want, like have an affair for a full week. Things do get a little chaotic when their wives decide to have affairs too.

    5. Rango

Rango is an animated movie about a pet chameleon named Rango who grew up in the city played by Johnny Depp but somehow ends up in the Mojave Desert.

    4. Just Go With It

One of my favorite actors of all time Adam Sandler teams up with the ever-gorgeous Jennifer Anniston and Brooklyn Decker in Just Go With It. The movie takes place mainly in Hawaii as Adam Sandler’s character convinces his assistant to pose as his to be divorced wife so he could cover up a lie he told his current girlfriend.

    3. Rio

Rio is easily THE best animated movie of 2011 so far, the creators who were also behind the likes of Ice Age have done a splendid job. Voice talents include the likes of Jesse Eisenberg and Anne Hathaway.

    2. The Hangover 2

The Wolfpack is back again guys and they’re better than ever. This time they’re causing havoc in Bangkok where they were “supposed” to attend Pete’s wedding.

    1. Horrible Bosses

What’s this? A movie beating The Hangover you say? Well this movie could only be the highly anticipated Horrible Bosses. The movie tells the story of three friends who are sick and tired of their bosses and want them gone. So they make a plan on killing them which doesn’t really go according to their plan.

  • Thor Sequel Already Confirmed, Release Date Set As July 26 2013

Thor was a critically acclaimed movie which did good enough at box office for the studio that a sequel is already in the works. Sadly it won’t feature the director of the first Thor movie “Kenneth Branagh”.

The first Thor movie grossed $437 million worldwide and had a 78% rotten tomatoes average by critics. It was good enough considering it was a entirely new super hero movie and when we take in the fact that such movies usually don’t gross much(like Green Lantern), Thor did more than enough to warrant a sequel.

While Thor was mainly praised for its hero “Chris Hemsworth”, it was also a good effort from director “Kenneth Branagh”. Sadly he won’t be directing this sequel as officially confirmed by Marvel. A new director is yet to be decided but Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as the “God of Thunder”.
