A Vietnamese site going by the name of Tinhte.vn seems to have gotten their hands on what they claim is a Galaxy S3.
In the video (posted below) they explain that the phone has a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED HD display just like the Galaxy Nexus and runs at 1280 x 720 resolution. Backed by the popular device information app called Android Information they showed off the phone’s 1.4GHz Quad Core processor and Mali 400 GPU which does seem like an odd combo. The phone also seemed to be running a new version of TouchWiz which was drastically different from TouchWiz 4.0. There’s also an 8MP camera, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of on board memory which can be expanded with the inclusion of a microSD card. The 2050 mAh battery will come with NFC just like the Galaxy Nexus so that’s good to hear.
The guy in the video also claims that the specs are accurate but the design might be changed so they could have very well had their hands on a working prototype. We’re not sure if this really is the Galaxy S3 but we’ll find out soon enough on the 3rd of May.
