Apple has raised the monthly price of Apple TV from $12.99 to $14.99 and increased its annual plan from $99 to $119. The company also lifted the individual Apple One subscription from $19.95 to $21.95 per month, according to reports from Ars Technica and The Verge on Friday.
The new rates apply to new and current customers. That means subscribers who use the company’s bundle to combine Apple services will also pay more on the individual tier.
Apple TV’s price has climbed sharply since launch
The streaming service debuted in 2019 for $5 per month, under the Apple TV+ name. At $14.99, its monthly rate now stands at nearly three times the launch price.
This is the latest in a run of increases. Apple raised the monthly charge in October 2022 and again in October 2023, then moved it from $10 to $13 in August 2025. The annual option now costs $20 more than before, a larger upfront commitment for viewers who pay for a full year.
The changes matter because the platform’s price has risen repeatedly even as Apple pushes subscriptions across its hardware customer base. Customers who joined when the service cost $5 a month have seen the fee increase by $9.99, while individual Apple One members face a $2 monthly increase on a bundle that is designed to consolidate recurring charges.
Current subscribers will receive notice before billing changes
Some details around timing remain unsettled. Ars Technica reported that existing subscribers will get one month of notice, while The Verge said they will be notified before their next billing date and described the change as taking effect immediately. Apple’s exact calendar date for the increase was not provided, so it is unclear whether every current customer will receive a full month before the higher rate appears.
