Make Your Scrolling Easier With Auto Scroller

Auto Scroller is a handy tweak similar to the tweaks I posted earlier but this is also a good alternative to the original tweak. Auto Scroller lets you roll your screen up / down with the press of a button so that you only need one hand to navigate your iDevice while surfing the net, reading iBooks or doing something else that may require your second hand for making the page go up / down. While some people might call this a lazy mans tweak you will be grateful for it when you are using your iPod / iPhone when you are most comfortable and will hate having to take out the other hand to adjust the page to your preference.

Step 1.

Go to Cydia and in Search type the following without the quotation marks (” “)

jp.r-plus.autoscroller

and click on the single icon bearing the yellow power drill icon.

Step 2.

Once again proceed by tapping Install followed by Confirm on the top right of the screen. and wait for Cydia to download and Install the tweak upon which it will ask you to “Restart Springboard” to do a soft reset to your lock screen. Tap on “Restart Springboard” To continue.

Step 3.

Head into your settings.app and search for Auto Scroller as shown below, to make this tweak work you will need Activator installed prior which should already be installed if you followed my previous tweak guide Here.

Now in Auto Scroller simply assign the button or action to make the page scroll up or down at the scrolling speed that suits you best. and you are all done, I am using the Volume Up and Down keys for the Scroll Up and Down navigation as I found to be the best suited for my needs.

You can now be 20% more lazy with this handy tweak for when you need to make use of your second hand in using your iDevice, now all we need is a guide on how to make scrolling controlled by Siri and we can go completely handsfree while reading iBooks or surfing the internet.

Do leave a comment below and tell me if you found this tweak to be helpful or not and what you plan on using this tweak for.
