How To: Easily Unlock And Flash The ZTE Blade AKA Orange San Francisco

This guide will show you how to Unlock your ZTE Blade aka Orange San Francisco and update your rom to Android 2.3.4 with Cyanogenmod 7, Root, Upgrade GEN1 to GEN2 and install clockwork recovery.

IN JUST 2 SIMPLE STEPS. So lets begin… Shall We?

 

Step 1. Unlock Network

1. Go to http://www.nextgenserver.com/calculator/

2. Enter your Phone’s IMEI
Service: ZTE
Model: ZTE Blade Android
And Type the text displayed in the box.

3. Now Type the Generated Code in the Phone. It will be Unlocked and Will Work on Any Supported Network.

 

Step 2. Total Phone Upgrade

(Make Sure the Phone is Fully charged before Continuing)

1. Turn off the Phone, take out the SD card and format it, using Card Reader.

2. Download the file and extract it, copy the folder named IMAGE to the SD card and Place the Card Back in the Phone.

3. Press and Hold menu + volume up + power buttons (some models only volume up and power button will do)

4. Watch the Magic happen…

Now your Phone is Up to Date and you wouldn’t have to do it through the lengthy methods

PSP Series HD Re-mastered on PS3

Some of the selected PSP games are finally expected to get the HD treatment on PS3, which includes Capcom’s Monster Hunter Portable 3D.However, whether the company has made any plans to launch them, or make them available as downloadable content is still unconfirmed. It is confirmed, that some of the games will fully support Stereoscopic 3D, and Dual Shock, along with added bonus contents.

The games will be playable on both PS3, and PSP, along with the free function of save file transferability between one another without a hitch. PSP multiplayer options will be fully accessible from PS3 through a new application.

No other games aside of Monster Hunter have been announced so far, but God of War’s PSP outings are rumoured to be HD mastered on PS3 in the near future. There has also been no conformation of the release dates, but, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) has stated, that the series will ‘kick off in Japan first’.

Call Of Duty – Modern Warfare 3 First Reveal Trailer Is Finally Here

After the whole info regarding Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 3 was leaked some weeks ago. Activision had no choice but to officially announce the game release by releasing 3 teasers which confirmed the locations players will be able to visit in game. This latest official trailer is the first trailer which show players fighting in the streets of England, America and Germany. The is a lot of in-game footage and it all looks impressive.

There are loads of explosions and action to be found just like any Michael Bay movie. Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 3 is expected to be released on November 8, 2011. See the trailer after the break.

10 iOS Features That Are Influenced From Other Operating Systems and Apps

Apple unveiled its new iOS this past Monday and we couldn’t help but to notice that many features of it were imitations of other operating systems and applications. The once idolized Apple is no longer innovative. We’ve comprised a list of Top 10 features which are copied from other operating systems and applications, check the list after the break.

 

1. Notifications: The pop up notifications were changed to a Notification bar. Any person can recognize that this notification system is a copy of the Android notification bar. It has much more tweaking options but still is highly influenced by Android’s notification system.

 

2. Safari Reader:  The feature of removing extra content in Safari so that the reading is less stressful for the eyes is simply what a well known app Readability offers.

 

3. Tabbed Browsing:  This Characteristic of the new iOS is not only influenced by many third party browsers out there but also from Apple’s own desktop version. Those third party browsers include Skyfire, Dolphin Browser etc.

 

4. Reading List: In a hurry or don’t have time to complete reading any news or website you could simply save it for later and sync with other iOS devices. Now that same function is available in Instapaper app!

 

5. iMessage: iMessage is very similar to Blackberry’s Messenger and many group chat, messages etc. apps like Whats up messenger

 

6. Volume Rocker as Camera key: You can use your volume rocker key as your camera shutter button in the new iOS. This need for a physical button to capture photos was fulfilled by Camera+ app in the previous version of iOS.

 

7. Instant Camera Button: Apple introduced a new feature in the new OS, you can take photos while your screen is locked. This feature is really useful when you suddenly have to take a photo of something which can disappear in the moments you need to unlock the screen and launch the camera app. This same function is available in Windows Phone Devices.

 

8.  Photo Retouching: Previously different apps like Photoshop were used to do some basic editing while being in the Camera key but now this feature comes built in. Again this is influenced by an application.

 

9. Reminders: The reminder system in the new iOS is very similar to the popular Milk to do/reminder application.

 

10. iCloud: We can’t help but notice that the idea of iCloud is taken from services like Dropbox and also some functions are influenced from them.

How To: Update To iOS 4.3 Manually

Sometimes updating your device through iTunes may not work out for one reason or another. If that happens you can always update your iDevice manually, just check out the step by step guide after the break.

Step 1: Download the iOS 4.3 IPSW file for your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad 2 or Apple TV using the links at the end of this article.

Step 2: Connect your device using a USB cable to your computer and open iTunes.

Step 3: Right click the device’s name in iTunes. Now Windows users have to hold SHIFT while clicking the “Check for Update/Update” button while Mac users have to hold OPTION while clicking the ”Check for Update/Update” button.

Step 4: A popup will open, browse to the IPSW you downloaded earlier and select it.

Step 5: iTunes will then update and re-sync your device with iTunes. This process should take around 10-20 minutes.

Make sure you download the correct IPSW file for your device. The IPSW files are as follows:

iPhone

• iPhone 3GS
• iPhone 4

iPod Touch

• iPod Touch 3G
• iPod Touch 4G

Sony Offers Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One Pre-order Incentives

The next game in the popular platformer Ratchet and Clank series, Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One is once again an exclusive feather in PS3’s cap. It will see the shelves in North America on October 18, 2011.

To spice things up, Sony has come up with a number of pre-order incentives that will unlock extra characters for those who get the game early. The company has teamed up with Gamespot, Amazon, Best Buy and Wal-mart. Each of these retailers will have one exclusive character.

Here’s what they have to offer:
