It was just a month ago that I upgraded my already upgraded Firefox to version 6. I found not many new features in the new browser and it felt almost identical to the 5th version. Now about 5 days ago Mozilla released Firefox 7! I thought it was some sort of a practical joke and Firefox was just messing around. BUT NO, it was a new release of their most awesome browser.

So what does Mozilla Firefox 7 have that the previous version didn’t? Well Mozilla’s official statement promises a whole new world of browsing but I still see the same old browser that was originally Firefox 4! In every new version, they add a couple more tweaks here and there and come out with a brand new version altogether! Meanwhile, their competitor, Google is still testing a beta for Chrome with a stable release out for the public.
I think Mozilla should either start using more decimals in their new releases or just stay with one number, but If I see Firefox 8 in a few days, I’m going to expect at least a new interface! Oh speaking of a new version, If you’d like to test out the Firefox Aurora (fancy name for Firefox 9 Beta) or any other imminent release, check out the link below.
