Former Square President Calls Square Enix Merger a “Complete Failure”

Former Square president and then Square Enix director Hisashi Suzuki called the Square and Enix merge “complete failure” on Twitter. This comes in days after Square posted losses in their latest earnings, kicking the company while its down.

He explained that the company’s stock value was higher before the merge and “The merger was a complete failure. There’s no vision for the future.”.

Suzuki is currently serving as a Director over at Square Enix. He was president at Square during 2000-2002 and director at Square Enix 2003-2005.
