So most of you know how those 21 apps were removed because they were supposedly spreading malware well they were downloaded over 50,000 times. So all those people were still using those apps, so Google decided to flip the kill switch and remotely disable them all. Well that’s not all, Those apps also installed some offending packages which Google seemingly removed used it’s own backdoor exploit the “Android Market Security Tool March 2011″. The application would also send you an email to report what it has done. Well we welcome Google looks after our best interests but it just makes you wonder how much control has Google has over our phones?
