After taking the hold from Bungie, 343 Industries claims that Master Chief’s next outing – Halo 4 will be the “best looking game” on the Xbox 360. Not much is known about Halo 4 currently but if they have their expectation set that high I’m thinking there might be a new engine involved but don’t hold me to that.
Corrinne Yu, who’s the principal engine programmer of Halo 4 had the following to say on her Twitter:
It’s the best looking game on Xbox and any other consoles we ever made and we’re all from AAA studios.So proud of team.
We are super glad. We all can’t wait to share with you what we are crunching so hard on. #halo4
We really enjoy working on #HALO4.Time flies when coding work is so much fun.Even more fun when we’re done.
Halo 4, revealed back at E3 2011 is due to release sometime this fall.
