As any Android owner must know you have to add a Google account to your device to sync Apps, Emails, etc the first time you turn on your phone or perform a factory reset. The annoying thing is that it’s kinda complicated to change or remove your Google account with a full reset, use the following guide to quickly change your default Google account.
- Go to settings.
- Select applications, then manage applications.
- Tap on Google Apps.
- Tap on clear data.
- You will get a new notification where it says that you have to update your account.
- Tap on it and enter your new Google Account information.
- It will prompt to reboot your phone, if it doesn’t give it a manual reset.
Do note guys that your contacts will be cleared and you will have to get them back someway, it’s better to copy them to your SIM card or just use a contact management program.
