Skype aired a new update for the Phone version of their hugely popular VOIP client. The new update adds support for H.264 video which lets the iPhone call TVs which support Skype. Currently Skype for TV is supporting by a few Panasonic, LG and Samsung HDTVs while Sony and Vizio have announced support in the HDTVs too be launched later this year. The new update is also available for the iPod Touch and iPad (which doesn’t support video calling, YET). The new video calling feature are only available on the devices with cameras, for example: the new 4th gen iPod Touch is supported while the older ones aren’t. Skype is available from the iTunes store for free so go grab it as soon as possible.
