  • Resident Evil 4 HD Achievements Points Detailed

Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica are getting HD remastered re-release on both PS3 and Xbox 3660. We previously reported that these release will come with the standard 1000 achievement points instead of the usual 200 for any Xbox Live title. After achievements for Resident Evil: Code Veronica, now you guys can see the achievements of Resident Evil 4.

According to Xbox360Achievements.org, the full list of achievements is as follows:-

    • It Begins With a Ring (50G): Ring the mysterious bell. What happens after that, is up to you.
    • Do Not Shoot the Water! (50G): Summon the master of the lake. Don’t rock the boat.
    • A Rock and a Hard Place (50G): Outmaneuver the rampaging beast, El Gigante.
    • Secure the Ballistics (50G): Rescue the president’s daughter, Ashley. Afterwards, the real fun begins.
    • A Bloodline Severed (50G): Defeat the village chief in battle.
    • A Terrifying Assassin (150G): Turn the tables on Verdugo, the right hand of Salazar.
    • The Castellan Falls (50G): Defeat Salazar, and make your escape from the castle.
    • The Ties That Bind (50G): Defeat Krauser, your former partner, in battle.
    • We’re Going Home (100G): Defeat Saddler in battle, and escape from the nightmare.
    • A Heart of Steel (150G): Clear the game on the highest difficulty.
    • What Are They Worth? (150G): Acquire all of the bottle caps in the game.
    • The S Stands for Stylish!! (100G): Acquire all of the costumes in the game.

Just like Resident Evil: Code Vernica, these are easy achievement points which are rewarded after completing the game tasks. The only difficult ones might be to complete the game on the hardest difficulty which is “Pro”. Since we were a die hard Resident Evil 4 fan, we already did that countless times when we played it. Now we can enjoy all this fun again in HD with slightly better visuals.

The other 2 achievements don’t seem to be that hard as well. The bottle caps achievement can be easily obtained if one spends enough time in shooting range and the die hard Resident Evil 4 fan that we were made us easily ace shooting range. The getting all costumes is slightly tricky one to get so good luck for it.

Below is a comparison video of the HD and the SD version.

  • Steam Won’t Get Battlefield 3 According To EA’s Digital Reseller List

This news won’t be shocking for gamers who knew the scandal ongoing between EA games and Steam. Sadly majority of Steam users will be disappointed to know that Battlefield 3 won’t make its debut on Steam according to a recently posted list of Battlefield 3 digital resellers by EA.

The story is that Steam recently removed a bunch of EA games from their site due to some contractual infringement. They were later restored though but this of course made EA mad and EA Support even vaguely described their relationship with Steam in these words “When a download service forbids publishers from contacting players with patches, new levels, items and other services – it disrupts our ability to provide the ongoing support players expect from us. At present, this is the case with only one download service. While EA offers its entire portfolio to this site, they have elected to not post many of our games. We hope to find a mutually agreeable solution to this issue soon.” You can see the whole answer here which was in response to EA policy on selling games on third-party download sites.

The digital reseller list by EA has now disappeared from web and it seems like that it was taken down. This list also had EA’s new digital download service “Origin” as well as other third-party services like Direct2Drive and GamersGate but their was no mention of Steam.

Hopefully both parties will reach and agreement to bring this popular game to the Steam users as well which constitute of the majority of the PC gaming market.

  • Apple Puts Hold on New Hardware Releases Until Lion is Released?

Apple is reportedly putting all new hardware releases on hold until Mac OS X Lion is released, reported AppleInsider.

[box] Apple management is so pumped up over the advantages presented by its forthcoming Mac OS X Lion operating system that the company has been holding back the release of at least one new Mac refresh until the software is finalized, AppleInsider has learned.

For instance, new Thunderbolt-enabled Sandy Bridge MacBook Air models expected to go into production this month have been ready and waiting for some time, according to people familiar with the matter. But management is currently unwilling to usher the new models into the market with the current Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard operating system.[/box]

Apple has already announced that Lion will be available in July for a price tag of only $29.99. If this report is accurate, we wont be seeing any new hardware from Apple until July.

  • How To Browse Safe & Anonymously – Access Facebook From Anywhere

Bypassing blocks and firewall seems to be a never-ending trend especially in college students these days. Even office employees need a break every once in a while, but the administration thinks they’re tech-savvy and block the popular proxy sites. This is how to access any site from anywhere anonymously and safely:

    1) Download UltraSurf from the website Here.

    2) If you wanna use it other than home, copy the file to a pen drive. It’s just one file.

    3) Run it from any computer from your pen drive.

    4) UltraSurf is a portable app, which means it doesn’t need any installation to run.

    5) UltraSurf will now open up a web-browser and show a lock in the corner. That web browser can be used to anonymous surfing.

    6) When you’re done, close the app and it’ll close the browser with it.

We believe everyone deserves the right to freedom. Have fun peeps.
