How to: Unblock Facebook in Pakistan

On the morning of Friday, 22nd September, the Ministry of Information and Technology has blocked access to Facebook in Pakistan – Turns out it was just temporary, however, it would be wise to bookmark this link for when it happens again. This move came after the ruling by the supreme court to block social media website which spread religious hatred. We here at Techdeville believe in the freedom to use the internet as you please. Unlike the Luddites running this country, so the following is a nice and simple guide to get Facebook back up and running again on your PC. BTW this also works for schools and offices which have restricted the access to Facebook.

How to: Unblock Facebook in Pakistan

    Step One

Download ultrasurf from HERE and download it to your desktop.

    Step Two

    Extract the  file using Winrar.

    Step Three

Open the extracted folder and run the u1017 application.

The ultrasurf window will pop up and it will take round about a minute to connect to server. When connected it will notify you and launch Internet explorer.

    Step Four

And that’s it! Now your internet has been unrestricted and you’ll now be able to open any site you please.

We will update the article as soon as the government takes any measures to circumvent this access method, so hold on to this link.

Kindly “+1″ and “like” the article if this helps you out. Thanks!

  • Mad Men Season 5

    Mad Men Season 5

Mad Men Season 5 is going to make its way to the screens next year. The fifth season of one of the most award winning shows on television is going to comprise of 13 episodes, 47 minutes each. Mad Men Season 5 started preparations this August and things are still under wraps about how the story is going to unfold this time around. It’s hard to believe that Mad Men Season 5 is a few months away. Last time we left Don Draper, series’ protagonist, he had married his secretary and was still working every account for Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. Don Draper, played by Jon Hamm, is the perfect portrayal of what ad men used to look like in the early 60′s, the show perfectly depicts that era with the same fashion, restaurants, locations and advertisements from that time. Mad Men Season 5 is going to feature a growth as we move on to the early 70′s.

    Mad Men Season 5

Mad Men Season 5 Episode 1 is going to be produced by Jon Hamm himself, the series finale and first episode both seem to be given a lot of time and thought on. Mad Men has also been called “The Sexiest Show On TV” of our time. Mad Men Season 4 was a decline in Don’s company, they went from being part of a big firm to opening a small office of their own, losing their biggest client Lucky Strike and also going bad with letting people go.

Mad Men Season 5 is not going to be the last season of the series, it is a long way from finished. With Don Draper and Roger Sterling doing the best they can for their firm, I am sure the new season is going to show them in a new office with bigger accounts and clients. The last season showed tremendous growth in their company, hopefully we’ll see more success in the next season. Mad Men Season 5 airs next year on AMC.
