Remedy Studios, the makers behind the incredible game “Alan Wake”, are now discussing possible sequels, DLC releases, and a PC version for their best-selling game. I remember having goose bumps playing this game on my 360, the tantalizing story, the deep sense of fear accompanied with an awesome visual appeal made this game stand apart from its competitors at the time.
The CEO of Remedy, Matias Myllyrinne, was speaking to JoyStiq about the new releases:
“Hopefully, we’ll have one or two surprises. I don’t know, I’m loving the digital [distribution] side and we’ll see how that evolves, but just being able to give people quick access to bite-size chunks of gaming is maybe more fun than working for years and years — taking the phone offline and closing the shutters– at least, this way, you’re able to react much more quickly to people’s desires and wishes.”
If they really are looking to do better business and make the people happy, they better come out with an Alan Wake 2 rather than an elongated prequel to the entire storyline. We need to know what happens next, REMEDY!
