RIM recently announced at their BlackBerry Jam Keynote address in Orlando that they will be guaranteeing developers who certify their applications with the company at least $10,000 in the first year. If the app doesn’t manage to sell that much RIM will pay the difference which is certainly the boost BlackBerry 10 needs.
There are certainly conditions and terms you have to agree to before you get all that money. Apps must be of good quality and pass the “quality certified” check by a third party and manage to make at least $1,000 by itself.
