Shinji Mikami, ex-Capcom and Platinum Games’ golden game designer behind games like Resident Evil and Vanquish has announced a brand new project he’s working on called ZWEI. ZWEI is a brand new Survival Horror game being worked on by Mikami’s new Tango Gameworks studio where he’s working on the game as an executive producer.
The game is currently in its early stages and according to Mikami will be coming to HD consoles although its still not decided which ones.
In an interview with Sokuho he revealed that the survival horror genre was where he’s most adept and wants to create a game which meets people’s expectations. Mikami is also having frequent meetings with Zenimax, which is the parent company of his new company listening to their opinions. The game will be published by Bethesda and Mikami is happy about his current developer environment.
