  • Enhance Your iDevice’s Mail App With “AllMail”

“AllMail” is a jailbreak tweak that allows you to enhance the edit options on your stock Mail app. Even though the iOS 5 has added quite a few features to theMail app, using “AllMail” is like nothing you’ve experienced before.

With the help of “AllMail” you can gain access to some settings like select all, move all, mark all, delete all and last but not least hide all your emails with a password, which is a great feature.

By means of mark all, you can actually mark all as read, unread, flag or unflag which I believe should have been there in the first place. You can also access the password protection from settings panel.

“AllMail” is available on Cydia for $1.5 under BigBoss repository.

Instructions to install this tweak are:

Step 1. Go to Cydia on your Jailbroken iPhone.

Step 2. Search for “AllMail” under BigBoss repository.

Step 3. Install the tweak and Restart SpringBoard.

  • How To: Exit All Apps on iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad

With iOS4 Apple introduced its revolutionary new take at multitasking. The multitasking on the iPhone 4 is a pleasure to use but the problem is that over time a lot of apps become clustered up in the background. The only way to close them was to select each single app and exit it from the multitasking menu. However, as it turns out there is a MUCH easier way to close all of the back ground apps with one single click.

The following is a guide on how to exit all apps on an iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch or an iPad.

    Step One

Open up Cydia from the springboard

    Step Two

Navigate to the search tab and search for Remove Background.

    Step Three

Tap on the Remove Background package and install it.

    Step Four

Remove Backgound will now appear on your springboard.

    Step Five

Now, there are two possible ways to use Remove Background to exit all apps on the iPhone.

    Activator

    1. Launch the RemoveBG app and go to the activator menu.

    2.  Select the activation method from the many available to activate RemoveBG and exit all your background apps. For this example I’m going to use the volume keys.

    SBsettings

This method is more convenient and recommended by us.

    1. Add the Repo http://repo.hackyouriphone.org to Cydia.

    2. Install the package Remove Background SBsettings.

    3. Now you can simply swipe on the status bar, and all your toggles will accessible from anywhere on the phone. To exit all apps you simply have to press the RemoveBG button and all the open apps will be exited.

  • How To: Send #NowPlayingTrack to your Twitter

Are you one of those audiophiles who simply can’t resist sharing your #NowPlayingTrack with your friends who are following you on twitter or do you simply like showing off your music collection while on the move and don’t have the time to type out “#NowPlaying Coldplay – Yellow”? A simple Cydia tweak will add a handy button to your on board twitter App to help making your #NowPlayingTrack known among your friends and followers by the single press of a button and like every other Cydia Tweak this guide will show you a VERY easy way to install the tweak and how to run it after installation

    1. Run Cydia off your jailbroken iDevice (iPhone or iPod Touch).
    2. From Cydia navigate to Search.
    3. In “Search” type the following without the quotation marks ( “ “ ) “com.w00tylab.twitplaying”.
    4. You will be shown a single result bearing the icon of a power drill, tap it and open it.

    5. Choose “Install” on the top right of the screen.
    6. Press “Continue” after the above step and you will be shown the following screen.
    7. Wait for the bar to vanish and you will be prompted to “Restart Springboard” simply tap it and you’re almost done.
    8. Your device will do a soft restart and take you back to your unlock screen, now once you unlock your device navigate to the native Apple Twitter app (I used this with the official Twitter App from the Appstore, I can’t say if this will work with substitutes) now press the new tweet button on the top right of your screen and look to the left of your character limit to see a musical note icon.
    9. As long as your music player is running in the background (you can verify if its running or not by double tapping the home button and swiping right till you reach the end of all current running apps) you will be able to share what song you are listening without the fear of mistyping the song name / band name or the artist name and also include the #NowPlayingTrack with the name of your song.

This tweak is especially useful to those who either are audiophiles or simply love sharing what music you are listening to, you can even add a mention to dedicate the song to someone and compose a tweet for them too.

I hope you found this guide to be helpful and I hope I can help you with any questions or problems you may run into

NOTE: I ran this tweak on an iPod Touch 4G and an iPhone 4 both running on iOS 4.3.3, whether the tweak works on iOS 5 is not in my knowledge so if it doesn’t work on iOS I won’t be able to help you.
