  • Ubisoft Massive’s Next Project Is An Online RPG

    It was revealed a few days ago that Ubisoft’s Massive studio was working on a brand new online game for next generation gaming platforms, today according to a new job posting it looks like the game will be a MMORPG.

    Are you a word-leading game designer with a burning passion for PVP? Are you looking for a great job in an international team working on a highly ambitious AAA Next-gen Online RPG project. Ubisoft Massive is currently looking for an experienced Game Designer with focus on the Player vs. Player aspects of the game.

  • Assassins Creed Revelation E3 2011 Wrap Up, Desmond Teaser Trailer + Gameplay Video

    E3 2011 has finally ended. Ubisoft had a lot to show this E3 including the lovely Rayman Origins to its blockbuster franchise Assassins Creed. Assassins Creed Revelations which is releasing soon this November will follow an older looking Ezio, we will also get to see Desmond and Altair. Ubisoft recently released a teaser trailer which shows what happens to Desmond after the ending of Assassins Creed Brotherhood. There is also about 12 minutes of worth gameplay footage.   • Assassin’s Creed: Embers Trailer Shows Ezio Coping With His Old Age

    Assassin’s Creed: Embers is a computer generated short film from UbiWorkshop. It will ship exclusively with GameStop’s Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Signature Edition, it will be later available on Xbox Live and PSN as well.

    It shows how Ezio deals with his life after becoming old, being a master Assassin, he sure has a lot of enemies even after becoming old. This animated short from the house of UbiWorkshop will tell the tale of a old Ezio, his relations with his family and how he has to face the everyday challenge of being an old man. Nobody can stay young forever, even master Assassin’s have to cope with the old age.

    It will be released on November 15th along with Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. You can either get it at that time or wait a little and get it on PSN and Xbox Live.

  • UK Is Crazy For Fitness, Transformers 3 Video Game Is Not A Bust

    This week Zumba Fitness: Join the Party was released for Xbox 360 and Wii. It sold the most copies this week to claim the top spot in the UK sales chart.

    Dirt 3 showed a much needed love and support as it jumped 2 places up from 4th place to 2nd place this week. While Transformers: Dark of the Moon movie was creating big explosions throughout the world, its video game was also nothing short of success and managed to sell enough copies to claim the 3rd spot behind Dirt 3.

    In the 4th and 5th places, Lego: Pirates of the Caribbean and L.A Noire clanged to their spots. L.A Noire is showing some good legs even though it was released in May. It is still selling extremely well which is good news for its publisher Rockstar. Lego games mostly have good legs so Lego: Pirates of the Caribbean still selling well was no surpirse.

    Call of Duty: Black Ops had the most impressive jump today and went 10 places up from 17th to 7th place. What was more surprising was the sales of Brink which was a critical failure. It received a lot of negative review but despite this all it is still in the top ten video games at 8th place.

  • Assassin’s Creed 3 Release Date Announced

    The release date of the highly anticipated title by Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed 3, has been announced. The game will be coming out October 30th, 2012. The release date came as a pleasant surprise since the game isn’t slated for next year or later like most of the big titles.

    Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft, said:

    “Assassin’s Creed 3 is the true next generation of both the Assassin’s Creed brand and interactive entertainment/storytelling in general.”

    He also added that this project is the most strongly financed as compared to the rest of the games of the series.

    No further details of the game were released. We will keep you updated as it develops.
