The long rumored multiplayer mode in Mass Effect 3 was shown to be false in the latest issue of Game Informer magazine. According to a user in GameFAQs forum who might have gotten his hand on this issue of Game Informer, There will be no multiplayer in Mass Effect 3, it could be incorporated in it’s spin-offs though.

More details include a much more RPG centered system this time, not unlike Mass Effect 1, but, this time the focus is more on Character Skills. Weapon system will be like Mass Effect 2 style but expect more freedom this time around with modifications.

The story will likely start on Earth right after the recently released “Arrival DLC”. Expect the return of old foes and allies as well. Read the Game Informer issue for more details as we don’t want to spoil your story of the game.
