Windows Phone Mango (7.5 as some people refer to it) is finally and ready to be implemented by manufacturers into their devices. Fujitsu-Toshiba is the first manufacturer to launch a Windows Phone Mango phone. The Fujitsu IS12T is currently only available for sale in Japan but we can most probably expect this to release in other regions soon.
The Fujitsu IS12T runs a stock version of Windows Phone Mango without not manufacturer modifications at all. The full featured build of Mango is onboard featuring excellent social media connectivity with integrated Facebook and Twitter support among others. You also get Internet Explorer 9 Mobile along with excellent multimedia capabilities.
The phone features some interesting hardware including a 13.2MP, 32GB of ROM and the most exiting of all: the phone is water and dust proof. Do note the phone should not be used in the water or left in sand for a prolonged period of time, it’s just for the occasion when you drop it into your swimming pool and you don’t have to run off to the store to claim the warranty.
The Fujitsu IS12T is available today in Japan through KDDI Corporation and Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company.
