Top 10 Laptops of 2011

People who are looking to get the perfect notebook, we at TechDeville have made a list containing the top 10 laptops to get your hands on this year. Today, when there are a lot of different options for everyone to choose from, everyone finds it really difficult to get the perfect notebook with the budget and required specifications being available in the form of so many different options.

So we did a little effort to narrow that list down to 10 laptops, making sure you get the gem you want. All the requirements have really been kept in mind making this list from Processor, RAM, and Storage to Screen Size and Battery Timing. I hope you’ll find this post very helpful.

10. Alienware M14Xz

A laptop from Alienware will always be unique for its build and design. Having the characteristics of something being out of this world, firm body and the curvy extraterrestrial nature. The design is incomparable with any other regular machine in the market. With a resolution of 1600×900, not being the best, graphics are pretty sharp and clean. With the inclusion of a NVIDIA 425M graphics card the XPS 15 is a good gaming laptop as well which can play recent games on average settings. 8. Lenovo ThinkPad X220

The first thing you notice about the ThinkPad is its classic utilitarian design; this may be a pro for someone and a con for the other. The ThinkPad design hasn’t changed much in the last ten years and the reason can be explained in one simple quote, “Don’t fix something that isn’t broken”. The business oriented design may seem ancient but this is an extremely rugged laptop, tough as nails!  The notebook has exceptional battery life despite it’s heavy specs, a 2.7GHz i7 and 8GB of RAM, The i7 will handle anything you throw at it with ease. The laptop has a slightly unorthodox screen size, 12.5 inches but the display is simply amazing, equipped with a IPS Matte screen, it provides vibrant colors and excellent viewing angles. It’s also got a really wide and comfortable keyboard which doesn’t make your hands beg for mercy after hours of use. This notebook is highly recommended.

7. Samsung Series 9 NP900X3A

Samsung’s offering in the Ultrabook market, the Series 9, is a beautiful ultrathin piece of hardware. You’d think that to keep it this thin Samsung must’ve compromised on the specs,  but you’d be very wrong! The series 9 packs a Second-gen 1.4Ghz Core i5 Processor, 8 Gigabytes of RAM and a 128GB SSD to boot, the SSD being the cherry on top! This ultrabook can be considered a direct competitor to Apple’s offering in the same category, the 2011 Macbook air. Both machines have almost the same specs, notable differences are 4GB less Ram on the Air and a faster 1.7GHz processor on the Series 9 but the reason for the Series 9′s low position in the list is it’s price. The notebook is even more expensive than the Macbook Air; Apple’s products tend to be more expensive then its competitors but this time Samsung has even outdone them in this department.
