Uncharted 3 multiplayer Beta went public this Tuesday. Previously it was only available to limited number of people. The Beta which is totally free now and is available until 14th July has surpassed 1 Million+ users so far. Since it is going to be shutdown soon, new content is scheduled to be added on 10th July.
Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta pits the players against each other online. Their are various game types and modes available like “Team Objective” and Co-Op Hunter” mode.
This beta was not completely with its flaws. A lot of players were reporting connectivity issues. Naughty Dog took notice of these issues and gradually fixed them in their daily updates of the beta version. Naughty Dog regards this beta as a critical process in the development of Uncharted 3 before its November 2011 release date. The experience learned from this beta version will be utilized to tweak and fix the final version so that the final product is perfectly stable.
Next week will be the final week for this multiplayer beta. Naughty Dog will shut down the servers on Thursday 14th July. Any person who has a PS3 and still has yet to play this beta is advised to get this now before this opportunity closes. Naughty Dog will release a new update for this game on Sunday 10th July which will include a “Yemen” map which is a totally new map as well as the first opportunity to play Co-Op Adventure!
Players who will be able to fulfill some specific requirements will be able to get exclusive rewards like UNCHARTED 3 PSN Beta Tester Avatar, Treasure Hunter’s Starter Pack, in-game cash on day one and more.
