Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition Raids Consoles This October

The ‘spiritual successor’ to the highly acclaimed title of 2009, Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls made a gritty impact on the market with it’s amazing difficulty level which sparked much interest and debate from all around the world. Previously referred to as Project Dark, Dark Souls was released in Japan on 22nd September 2011. It was released for both PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360 systems. From Software developed and published the title for PlayStation 3 in Japan only where as Namco Bandai was responsible for publishing the title in Western territories for both platforms.

A PC version was released on 24th August 2012.

Apparently a new edition of the game titled Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition has been announced with a release date tagged with it by Namco Bandai for PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360. This edition is to be released on 26th October 2012. This special edition is to contain over 10 hours of additional content which includes new bosses, enemies, NPCs.

When Demon’s Souls was released it showed the world that “THIS IS HOW YOU DO DRAGONS AND EPIC BOSS FIGHTS” and it’s spiritual successor doesn’t fall short in any of the epic-ness that was shown by Demon’s Souls.

This special edition is only announced for consoles. There’s no word whether PC owners will also get 10hours of more awesomeness from Dark Souls.
